This is only the second scene of this nature I have ever written, and my first (which is on fanfiction not here) made Ianto seem really weak, so I'm putting this as my atonement.

Oh no... I really think you've done a great job. Sex for sex's sake is just a PWP and usually kind of boring...(really, how many ways can you write insert tab A into slot B? LOL It gets old) But this was very well done and as I said I love broken Jack.

that was brilliant, so well written, Ianto looking after broken Jack, (you could write a series just on how Ianto helps Jack recover) loved it

Aww, thank you.

I have been thinking about that - my first idea for this was to do a kind of mini-series.

But my problem is I always have so many ideas flitting around in my head that I find it difficult to finish one before I go on to another. Which is why a series of One-Shots was good for me - it encouraged me to finish the things I started but meant I could then move onto something else.

So, if I ever get a spare moment I would love to continue this as a mini-series - but I'm so bad at sticking with one constant idea it probably won't happen.

Always loved this song, so I was thrilled to see you'd done a story to it. I have a big soft spot for stories where Ianto takes care of Jack... no one can do it better. The last two lines were just perfect -- Ianto sees Jack as a hero even while being more aware of his human faults than anyone else in his life. To me, Ianto is the hero's hero. Thanks for highlighting that so well!
