Well, we all know who's writing this, so it probably won't be a smooth ride to get to wherever they're going. But I'm glad you like it. So thank you!

I've been terribly bad in replying to reviews, but I've decided to start again. Because you deserve to be thanked. Also, I have posted the next chapter - I'm worried that people haven't picked it up, as there was a low response, so I'm coming back and just letting everyone know that it's there.

This was amazing, Erin.
You had me in tears. Proper tears. The dripping ones, the runny nose, barely seeing...
I think this was the perfect ending before Christmas :)
I don't often say this, but I'd be happy if it ended here. 'Course I would love it to continue but I'd be alright with the story if it ended here :)
Nadolig Llawen!
(I don't know Happy New Year in Welsh from memory lol)
And a Happy New Year :)

Oh, I'm sorry I made you cry. For a split second I thought about ending it here as well - as you know, Torchwood is breaking my heart at the moment, so giving it all up here would have been the easiest thing in the world - but I realised that I couldn't do that. I can't just leave it. I've spun myself a very complicated web here, and it would be wrong to leave it without untangling it.

Thank you so much for your comments. You have no idea how much they mean to me.

Also, I'm not sure if people have missed it but I have posted the next chapter. I noticed that there hasn't been much of a response, so I am worried that, it being New Year and everything, people haven't seen that it's up. I thought I'd come back and let everyone know personally, instead of waiting to see if you catch it.

Thanks again!

That's okay it's good to cry once in a while :). You're not the only one, I think I'm going to cling to Torchwood for the rest of my life, even if it means re-reading old stories. Luckily for me I can stand doing that :).

No problem, I love to know that people still write Torchwood and I won't have to put up with all the new Gwack crap that's going to come through when the New World series starts :/ - obvs I'm not going to go anywhere near it. This is why I'm glad there's such a thing as LJ, on FanFic.Net it's easier to come across Gwack crrap (haha that rhymed) :/

Yeah, they probably haven't gone through their e-mails yet (namely, me :P). I was in London all weekend with family and I haven't caught up on my e-mails and I can't now seeing as I have school in the morning, Yay!! *snark* :/

No problem again :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this. I don't understand, not at all, but I'm with Jack: all that matters is Ianto's alive.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!

Hey! I will reply properly at some point, because it's late, but I just thought I'd pop in and say that the mile-a-minute thing was a deliberate thing. I was trying to get into Jack's head, and often, I find, in traumatic situations everything just rushes along at an incomprehensible speed. So I'm glad you picked up on it :)

It will all be explained. I promise. I have the explanation part written up already and have done for several weeks, maybe even months. So it will all make sense, eventually. I hope.

Actually got round to replying properly. Wahey!

I'm glad I managed to give some kind of relaxation over the Christmas holidays, even though everyone in the fiction obviously has no idea what is going on. I know what is going on, but that doesn't mean I'm going to tell you anytime soon. Mwa ha ha. I have it all planned out - but that doesn't mean that the writing will actually go by the plan. It may spiral off in some unknown direction for all these characters like to give me a hard time.

As for Rory and Amy *points to icon*. I love putting a little bit of their relationship alongside Jack and Ianto's to provide some sort of contrast. Rory and Amy started off as best friends in their childhood, and they remain friends as well as lovers. That's why they work so well. They're not normal, traditionally speaking, and they're quite screwed up. But they work as a couple in a way that Jack and Ianto still can't - but offer an example of how someday they might.

Thank you!

Damn, you worked out it was the nanogenes. Though, I'll be fair, I didn't do much to hide it. I absolutely agree with your definition of drama - three quarters of the work is in the putting them back together, rather than the breaking. I have to give you an incentive to work through the angst, rather than just leaving you wanting to jump off a cliff. Although, I may now have officially killed Ianto more times than RTD - but at least I had the good sense to bring him back again afterwards.

Thank you! I know this reply is a bit late, and has been posted after you've commented on the next one. But I felt the need to do it.
