I can't believe the horrible things that have happened within our own school halls. I feel somewhat guilty for not being there. Isn't that strange? I am no warrior to fight off dark wizards, but still...

What happened at school? Is this about that festival thing?

You haven't heard? There was an attack during the Ball. Dark Wizards showed up and took one of the students hostage. She's all right, thank Merlin -- they were only trying to prove a point, apparently -- but some of the attendees ended up in the infirmary with bumps and bruises, and many suffered from the trauma of the attack.

How the hell did Dark Wizards get into Hogwarts? Is that what that letter from Dumbledore was about? I thought it was a supply list; I was going to open it when I went to Diagon Alley....

They're still investigating. That was supposedly the point of the attack; that Hogwarts could be invaded. It's...a frightening thought.
