Haha! Ha! Ha. I thought at first that Tom Horne was talking about the law that was used to get rid of Mr. Acosta's class -- that that was propagandizing and brainwashing. Because it really, really is, brainwashing Arizona's kids into "ethnic solidarity," aka, only white males exist, there is no other ethnicity.

Good luck, Mr. Acostas of Arizona. I hope you challenge the crap out of that law.

(And I agree 100% with you on Gabrielle Giffords, I just don't have anything more to say to it. I'm glad you're posting about it, though, and about the fact that this country's negative, hateful politics were most definitely a contributing factor.)

I KNOW, RIGHT? I can't decide if this guy is just really, truly, that deeply ignorant of his own massive amounts of privilege, or if he's actually a sinister, Big Brother-style propaganda mastermind. There has to be a term for that, right? When you try to control the discourse to a point where you DEFINE the status quo as good and just, and therefore anyone who questions whether it IS good and just is axiomatically UNgood and UNjust? I'm sure there's a really smart word for it, but I don't know what it is. Anyway, this guy gets the GOLD MEDAL in it.
