is it ever gonna be enough

I have not been able to fall asleep.

Hence, first poem in months. For those of you who weren't aware that La Casa de Merc is currently a 24/7 rape crisis center, warnings for themes of sexual violence/sexual assault do apply. I wouldn't call anything under the cut graphic, per se, but the metaphor isn't prettifying.

What it says on the tin under the cut. )

urge to kill rising, getting my buffy on, srs bsns, poetry, i don't even have a tag for this

It is incredibly depressing how true this poem is; but these are good words and I think the right ones.

Wow, this is a powerful poem.

The math metaphor is a stark and good way to talk about how very messed up rape is.

1) this is painful but beautiful, and honest, which is something you are very very good at.
2) I'm glad you're feeling better, and I hope your friend/s is/are doing all right, as far as that term can go. that's an awful situation. :(
3) I think I want to write a poem in response, is that okay?

thank you lady. it's kind of hard to say right now, but I at least feel that I'm doing all I can and all that's mine to do.

very little would make me happier than if you were to write a poem in response. :D

http://tomato-greens.livejournal.com/658552.html#cutid1 -->here you go. written in a café in Paris, although minus the raging case of alcoholism that I think would really make it all traditional.
