A haiku rip off

I was counting syllables and trying to make it fit into my own little pattern (not the usual 5-7-5). Then I realized it was way past the time to go home, and it's a dangerous thing to make your co-workers think you're pulling overtime willingly. Might work on it some more

many thanks... For some reason it means more coming from a fellow musician than it would coming from a random schmoe off the street, although it's a form of expression somewhat removed from the whole music thing. :-)

yes. the random shmoe doesn't know that each song, each poem, actually everything an artist writes/creates is a piece of us. so, if we created a piece of crap or a piece of magic.... we NEED to know ;)
