Yesterday a phishbot hacked my email account and gobbled up my address book, sending messages to everyone therein informing them that I'd been captured by thugs in Wales and was being held for ransome. If you were one of the recipients of said ransom request, I apologize

Because I'm a slacker about clearing out old e-mails, I was able to reconstruct about 85% of my lost addresses and the others, mostly related to my business, I can probably track down through the Internet. The up side to all this was all the friends who thought it was for real and called to check on me, volunteered to shoot said abductors or busted their piggybanks to bail me out! LOL!!!

I have no doubt that Wales IS lovely, and some day I hope to see the place. I just wondered whether the Welsh make a habit of pfishing people's cyber accounts across the big water or whether some creepy guy in Upper Slobnikia just wanted to pin the crime on some nice folk who use far to many consonants?

*turns her head to shout to the crew behind her*
"Stand down, everybody! She's okay - the rescue mission is called off! And you - yeah YOU," a big, beefy guy looks startled to be addressed so sharply by such a little thing, and chomps on his cigar a little nervously. "Stop playing with those grenades! And I want them ALL back in the ammo supply locker, ya' hear?" He grumbles off to do as he's told.
"Whew!" she says, turning back to you "That was a close one! We're all very glad you're safe. We'll, ah, just clean up here and be on our way."
