I have to admit--your entry made me giggle a few times.
I, too, cringe when I hear or see the term "pee pee". When I think about little kids, I want to say potty. I know it could mean two things, but yeah. If I had to use two different words, I'd stick with the good ol' pee and poo(p). Perhaps I'd say poo poo only because it makes me laugh. (unlike pee pee, it just annoys me)
I made the mistake 13 years ago of accidentally training my one dog to go "wee wees". The younger dog wound up picking it up of course, and now my 2 year old son has caught on. So imagine the same thing with a 2 year little boy telling you "wee wees"... Of course, 13 years of walking a black lab on a leash around the neighborhood, saying "wee wees" has made me completely immune to any kind of embarrassment at this stage of the game. LOL
