Also, I was a good boy today.

I did not in fact send a response back to someone who sent an email to me in ALL CAPS that they need to learn to properly operate their capslock key. It would have possibly annoyed someone, and we're trying not to get people calling us and screaming at the top of their lungs.

Still. I wanted to.

apocalypse now please, work

At least if the capslock is jammed it means that they are properly capitalizing first person pronouns and the first word in sentences. For that reason alone I prefer ALLCAPS FOREVAR to im so emo i cant find the shift key woe.

I dunno, I mean, I'm as enamored of proper usage as the next guy, but I'll trade it for the much greater ease of differentiating lowercase characters. "It would be impossible to spell the name of the Deity correctly" just isn't reason enough to put up with the headache of trying to read all caps in my book.

Allcaps actually has a functional use, though. You'll see what's called boilerplate in a lot of legal and corporate documents, which is a section, often in the front and usually a disclaimer, that is in all or small caps.

theres really no excuse for the way im typing now except for a missing shift key or a missing self esteem or laziness

ah, but laziness is its own reward.

YOU MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE A SEPARATE EMAIL ACCOUNT YOU CAN SEND THESE RANTS TO? WE'VE HAD ONE FOR YEARS.
