Poor wee Sammy - I feel you've been kind to him in one way, that he doesn't remember being big and strong, but then again, how lonely and sad to be his child self totally lost in a future he knows nothing about.
I am looking forward to the concluding part!

this is just lovely, sam feels so very thirteen and dean clearly loves sam but also, he's gruff late-seasons dean, he doesn't quite express it in the way sam needed to hear. oh man. can't wait for the next chapter. poor sam, that shifter hit all the insecurities

Thank you!!! I'm terribly late with the next chapter (I should really try to time things around school holidays!) but I promise it's finished and will be up as soon as I have time to polish it up a bit!
