Summary: Sam doesn't wander or pick up books to read. He just sits on the couch with his legs drawn up to his chest, chewing his thumbnail into non-existence and watching everyone that enters the library.

Wow. Thankfully Jason saved Sam and then John and Dean got there just in time.

I don't feel well about John being left alone with Jason and the others though...I'm sure there are files describing why these kids were chosen--their potential powers. And I don't know what John will do when he finds out. They've already been tortured. He may decide to put them out of their misery. Seems like something he'd do. Though of course John doesn't have proof they have powers and it wasn't just crazy scientists trying to prove that...

John's reaction and understanding of the situation is what I'd really like to explore in a follow up, but, being John, he's being difficult to write. I'm hopeful that one day it will be good enough to post, but definitely not too soon!

I'm pretty much too much of a wimp to write death fic, the closest I've come is ambiguous endings, and for this story, at least, I really wanted to see Sam reunited with his family. :)

OMG, I was so anxious. Because you were planning a possible sequel, I was really afraid John and Dean might not get there in time.

But Jason. They've got to take Jason to his mom. If they don't, those Winchesters will have to do a lot of explaining. Cause seriously--saving people, remember?

I swear all these (awesome) comments are blowing up my muse's little head. She reads them and goes, 'Oooo, yes they could take Jason to his mum' and then, 'Oooh, or maybe John should kill Jason...' or, or, etc LOL
