Went to three different stores, just to find some friggin' cheesecloth. And I got three fresh-looking heads of garlic to roast. Two of them, when the tops were cut off, revealed lots of green. Now I have to go out and find some more

when i was living in the krishna temples, we used cut off pieces of old cotton saris for cheesecloth. i would imagine that any soft cotton cloth like that would do. an old t-shirt, even.

I actually thought about that, but mostly in the context of "damn me for cleaning out my closet and taking all my spare t-shirts to Good Will last week." But then, I'd rather help out people who need the clothes than drain the yogurt for the tzatziki. Since, I did find the cheesecloth at the third store, I get goth good deeds and good eats. :)
