Really? I meant the little aside of Sherlock and House thinking the other seems familiar: Benedict Cumberbatch and Hugh Laurie were both in Fortysomething. In fact, Cumberbatch played one of Laurie's sons.

OMG! Now I totally have to go watch that. I was just referring to the fact that House is based on Sherlock Holmes. The creator out and out says it's "Sherlock Holmes in a hospital." I'm sure you've noticed: Holmes -> House, Watson -> Wilson, both live at 221B, etc. Somebody told me The Mentalist is based on him, too. I think I see a pattern, lol.

I'm so glad you told me how you got here, because it explains the sudden (and entirely welcome) deluge of comments on this post. So cool to be recced somewhere!
