miss_peg's permission. A very happy birthday to her, by the way!Do you happen to have a muse character, one who makes you feel like you've known him/her all of your life? A character that is the driving force behind most of your stories

Also, I struggle to find a direct muse in The Mentalist, I thrive off of Red John the most though, probably because he's such a blank canvas open to interpretation. Cho is such a difficult person to get a read of, I think he's very unlike anyone I've ever known. I struggle with his lack of obvious feeling.
But in the Skins fandom I am so familiar with Naomi and Emily, it's like I live and breath them every second of every day.
I long for another character/pairing like that.

I won't go as far as saying that Lisbon's my muse, but I find myself quite comfortable with writing her anyway. Jane's a much more complex character, and therefore it's considerably more difficult to capture his thoughts.
I happen to write from Red John's point of view from time to time, and to my own surprise I enjoy doing it. I don't know if "my" Red John fits what the show's writers had in mind while creating his character, but still.
Angsty Van Pelt works too sometimes, while it's much more difficult to write from Rigsby's or Cho's point of view.
I've also developed a thing for Lorelei of late...

Otherwise? My leading OC for my novel, Prue.
I tend not to focus on the characters I find harder to get, because if I try hard enough, I'll usually get them in the end. Just not as well as Lisbon.
