Hello guys! Here's a new layout. With a topbar. I just discovered that I don't like topbar layouts, because the instructions to install them are more detailed than my average instructions and because it's a pain to make them work in multiple browsers. Also, I changed
mentahelada's layout and I discovered too that I don't like Minimalism. It's weird and tricky

These are lovely. It's so rare to find a layout that exemplifies readability. Your layouts are not only nice to look at but they're really great in terms of functionality. Micro text and light text on light/medium backgrounds is difficult to read even though it can be pretty. Most people these days have screen resolutions greater than 1024 x 768 too. The hover effects are nice as well.

I think all the styles have things that I like. I like Mini, because it implemented classes in places like the header/entry links, or the titles of the sidebar boxes, and you can take the customization to another level. But the sidebar is not as flexible as the one from other styles, and I use mine A LOT, so... that's why I prefer SS.
And all my layouts are tested in a minimum resolution of 1024x768. They look HUGE in that screen size, but they work. :)
Thanks a lot for your comment. I like to hear what people think about my work because I tend to think that all my layouts look the same.

Yeah, one of my monitors (really old ones) is 1024 x 768, I pretty much use that PC for storage and when I check out sites, the font can be HUGE and sometimes I do quite a bit of Ctrl -. Bigger is better for me, in most cases. On LJ, too many sites have miniscule font sizes. The last stats I looked at showed that more people have greater than 1024 x 768 then 1024 x 768 which is 2nd place.
Only superficially do they look similar. Of course, I'm a Virgo and we notice the small stuff. My favorite layout of yours is without a doubt Minimalism: Forgot Your Name. I think it's one of your best, it's perfect as is and it works great. I tweaked it a bit [with your help] but it was perfect to start with. The attention to detail is obvious and impressive. Some people might look at it and say it's too minimalistic but that is its strength.
There I go blathering on at 1:15 a.m. Blame it on me being a Virgo.

Anyway, I don't specially like Forget Your Name. It gave some weird problems to some people using Macs, I think, because of the negative margin that I used in the content area, and I received a good amount of comments about this issue. (You like it because of the visual part, I dislike it because of the technical part. That always happens to me XD).
I think my favorite of the Mini ones is... this one: http://community.livejournal.com/mentahelada/13972.html
It is also simple but with the perfect amount of color... but what can I say? My layouts are like my little babies, I shouldn't be saying anything about them.

I forgot to add the link to the transparency to this post:

So you are repeating the background of the entry in the content.
Oh, this makes me think about my bandwidth. Nobody has pointed out this before... but I still hope that everybody is smarter than I and just figured out and fix the thing when they uploaded the images to their server.
Thanks a lot for that, by the way. :)
