This is really nice. Super-clean and modern.

This layout doesn't work with the Navigation strip, right? If it's supposed to, part of the first entry's subject is covered.

The nav strip is working on my test journal (and I checked the layout in ie7, 8, firefox and safari).

Are you choosing the correct minimalism theme (travel affar)?

Yeah, I'm using Travel Afar. Perhaps its because I have selected a mood for my entry? Also, the Add to Friends link is missing.

It may help to know that I am using Safari 4 on a Mac.

I don't know what the problem is. I've seen this layout on Safari 4 on a Mac and looks ok. Anyway, this will fix the problem. :D

I'm not sure why, but the title of the first entry on each each page is cut off a bit at the top. Is there something I can do to fix this?
