Yeah that's normally how I take it out as I have to bear down to able to reach the rim in the first place. The main problem is the cramping that it's causing as it gets quite uncomfortable.
Thank you for the advice though! It's greatly appreciated :)
What fold are you doing? Maybe you could try a diamond fold to let more air in. Are you leaving it till its full? It may make it sit lower on removal. When you bear down it may be shoving your cervix into the cup creating suction, maybe try walking it down or "stirring" the base to release the suction, if you do it slowly in an outwards movement then you may be able to get it low enough to grab and do a c-fold for removal.
I've been using the punch-down fold but I will try the diamond fold on my next cycle and hope that it helps! I haven't been able to leave it in for long at all unfortunately due to the cramping it creates, but hopefully the diamond fold will help stop that. The bearing down part may also be true so I'll try a few other methods of getting the cup lower to try and resolve that removal issue. Thanks for the help!
I felt this with the Lily because the no spill rim actually suckered onto my cervix. However, the Lily has a narrower rim/opening than most cups. Your cervix is unlikely to be exactly the diameter of the LUB unless it's abnormally large.
