First cup (Diva cup) challenges and questions

After a fair bit of research here, on Reddit, and Precious Stars Pads on youtube, I decided to get a cup. The only one available here is the Diva cup, so I bought that one.

Get comfortable with the concept and act of insertion. Start with your fingers and then move on to something easily removable such as a clean hairbrush handle or whatever else appeals to you. Get familiar with the angles. Learn to clench and relax your PC muscle. And don't rush the process. Cups are patient. :o)

Edited to add: Consider enlarging the anti-suction holes around the rim while you're gathering your confidence. The ones on the Diva are notoriously small. And if you haven't already, read http://kuradi8.livejournal.com/
