The small UK Mooncup has a fairly low capacity. And the Melunas that have caught your attention tend to "run small." Compare their dimensions against other brands at any of the size charts such as the one at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ and you'll see that their size name is usually bigger than their dimensions

From what you're describing, I would bet you need a cup that is both relatively short (for your low cervix) and relatively firm (because you're relatively active). The two things I can envision that would be resulting in leaks are: 1) the cup being too soft, and your muscles are squeezing it enough that it's folding or creasing slightly inside of you - which would probably result in leaks. Or 2) your cervix is sitting far enough inside the cup (because the cup is too long for the distance between your vaginal opening and your cervix), which could also result in leaking after the cup gets full to a certain point

If you're concerned about discomfort due to firmness, I'd recommend staying away from the MeLuna sport. I used their size chart and came up with XL and their descriptions led me to sport. While the size worked fine and I didn't have much discomfort on insertion, removal was uncomfortable due to the firmness and by the end of my cycle I felt chafed. I'm sure it's great for some women, but not for me.
That said, shipping was not expensive, it arrived faster than expected, and the ball "stem" was great, so a MeLuna classic might be a great choice.
