Awwww! Elizabeth! Awwww!

This is so awesome and heart-tugging and aw! And the ending was the perfect, perfect little spice of smile to end it with!

I loved the letters, from the non-traditional spelling of Alyce, to the EDIT LIZ!!!s, to the way they changed tones and buffered the scene changes, to the little snippets of about Alyce and the Stargate Program being open.

And oh, Elizabeth! Her descision making process felt real and heart-breaking and scared and doubtful and herioically human. I just...wow.

You did an awesome job! Thanks so much! :)

It wasn't anything in particular that stood out, but just little things that after freakishly stalking carefully reading over your LJ to get a better idea of what you liked in a story, for lack of a better term the writing "felt like you." For example, the way the letters were written, they felt like someone who'd actually spent time around a 10 yr old girl and knew how to relate to one, as opposed to someone who was pretending they had a 10 yr old girl to relate to.

Although, I must confess, it was pretty much a stab in the dark, lol. "I don't know this author or that author, but hey, this feels vaguely familar...*check*" :)

Thanks! I've always been curious about how Rod's departure looked from the other side.

My favourite line

"Cashless Society Syndrome," said Rod. "Someone should do a paper."

I don't know why, but that made me giggle in the middle of all that angst. great story.

Thanks! I love writing dialog, and this story didn't really give me much chance.
