On Fairytales

Today I saw a piece of flair on facebook that said, "I don't believe in fairytales anymore."  And I laughed and laughed.

Because the real fairytales are about love and death, and standing up against the world even when you can't possibly win.  They're about fighting, and losing, and sometimes winning, and grief and joy, and that sense of wonder at ( Read more... )

Everyone makes their own fairy tales. I think ours are especially awesome. They involve plants, friends, cakes, and a dash of drama. How was your birthday?

Kinda meh, but that's my own fault. I'm lonely down here, and it really bites. And the depression's bugging me a bit, not bad like it was in the winter, but just kind of chewing at the edges, I guess. And I'm letting it wear me down.
