Exactly. It is the same perseverance part of him. The obsessive part that won't let go. Especially won't let go of Wilson.
Very IC too considering the subject matter. I can see House fighting the idea right up until he sees the proof, and then instead of telling Wilson about God, or being an angel, or even that he loves him, covering up the whole thing with a complaint about the toast.

I also liked Wilson's behavior, the more I read it and the more it really makes sense that he'd accept feeling better without questions and go back to his TLC operating mode towards House. I particularly liked the who-cleans symbology for Wilson's health.
The ODC reminds me of my favorite parable, that of the talents: House's gift should not go wasted.
