Reflections: Dreams, Thoughts

Studying humans is sick. Categorizing them, as if they were animals. Saying what is good and what is not. Differentiating between the sane and insane. How can they? [how can they not? It's an eternal debate between the two sides. Whatever they say, it's not multilateral. Not a soliloquy too. Always, a dialogue with yourself ( Read more... )

Genius could come in many different forms, I think at least. From what I know, I do think you're a perfectionist, but do correct me if I'm wrong! I'm not saying that's a good or a bad thing at all. I also think that how much effort we put into something is also based on how we want the final product to look. I think you might think you're mildly talented, because you want yourself to be something even more than what you are now, if that makes sense? I'm not sure, but that's my take on it, for what it's worth!

Yeah. Something like that. Or, which is also possible, I just fell a victim to the monster of PMS. But true about perfectionism bit. Sometimes I hate it about myself. 'Twould have been much better if I were ordinary in that sense, satisfied with what's given, and not wanting what wasn't. Or something. I don't know.

It might be better, but then again, if we're happy with where we are at now in life, what's the point of continuing on living? Wouldn't it be best to always improve or always try to do new things and change things, rather than just accept them for what they are? *shrugs* I guess that's just my thoughts, at least!

And ordinary's only relative, so I think. What's ordinary to one person could be extraordinary to someone else.

You just named a man that is known to have stolen his work from other writers and a man who only became a Physicist because he was told he was too stupid to do math.

There you go, the true answer to genius is either dishonesty or revenge.
