So at that place where I spend all my time *cough* there was a dinner thread and they had Bread with Oil? I thought this was odd so I looked it up. It's still odd, to me, but apparently is an actual recipe. I've never actually eaten eggplant but Polpette di Melanzane (eggplant croquettes) sounds .....interesting.

We don't make ours nearly that complicated. Remind me, and we'll have that next time you're over. We like to accompany it with a variety of cheeses, fresh fruits, a red wine, some salads and the like. Enjoy!
