4.01: The Spam Hits The Fan.

Bob's halfway to Dot's Diner when his synchronizer goes off. He thought he'd have time to grab a shake before things got started; apparently, he was mistaken. With an exaggerated sigh, he wheels around and heads back toward the Principal Office.

Hex turns aound for a moment. "Okay," she said and started to rise in the air.

Hex looks rather angry and with a sweep of her hand and a burst of viral energy the guardian ships start to clump together. (occ: Much like Katamari Damacy. Doo doo dum de dooo.... [enter Katamari Damacy music here])

"Go away!" she said indignantly,again.

And in the that moment the glowing ball of ships -or Katamari- of ships, flies through the hole that is in the globe.

Mouse is already following this move up with a measure of her own. She takes Ship past the hole in the sky, dropping a circle of firewall senders aroudn the ragged edges of the gap. Once Hexadecimal has sent the ships out, Mouse turns on the firewall to make sure they can't get in again.

The Guardians can huff and puff all they like. Nobody's blowing that barrier down.

Hex happily lands on a board in front of Bob. The binome that is on the other side of it is shot into the air, to land who knows where.

"Ta da!" said Hex posing gracefully. Her arms out, standing on one leg.

"Thanks, Hex," says Bob, applauding as politely as he can manage.

Hex leans forward touching her cheek delicately with a claw.

"Ki-iss," she pleaded.

Bob hesitates.

...what the heck, it can't hurt to humor her just once, right?

He closes his eyes and leans toward her...

Yeah, bad idea.

Hex grabbed Bob, laid him across her lap and gave him a HUGE smooch.

When Hex is done she drew a lovely claw down Bob's armor.

"Now, about that downtime..." she said.

Just then a vidwindow pwings up behind Hex, inside th screen is a very shocked looking Dot.

"Bob!"

Hex looks up rather unconcerned but annoyed.

"Oh,helloDot," she said flatly.

...Bob is starting to hope that this is some kind of horrible nightmare. Like the one where he's naked in the middle of a Game.

"Ah--uh--I'll get back to you," he stammers, closing the window before Dot can start screaming at him. "Hex, please..."

A flash from between Hex's breasts indicated something was going on.

Hex noticed this and it seemed to tickle just a little.

"Oh Bob!" she said her smile even larger than it was before - if that was possible.

"That wasn't me," says Bob, sliding out of her lap quickly while she's distracted by the... whatever it is.

Hex looked down at her icon. It was spinning and a strange white glow emitted from it.

"Ooooh, it tickles," she said looking down then right back up," S-should it do that?."

Hex looked down at her icon and back up again, now alarm and fright on her face.

"Bob... help," she nearly screamed.

The spinning of the icon stopped but the threat was still there.

"Bob," she said more alarmed than before," It's changing me!"

And indeed the white glow seemed to bleed onto corseted body, changing it, staining it, changing her.

...that can't be good.

"Hex, stay calm!" Bob tries to step toward her, but is distracted by something moving under her feet. Dozens--no, hundreds of nulls are swarming toward Hex, onto her, covering her...

And it's Attack of Nullzilla, again!!!

Just don't try to touch it, it may kill you.

The nulls covered Hex a strange cocoon of power sucking blobs (not Bobs, could you imagine tiny bobs.... )

"Bob," Hex screamed and her face was closed over in a sea of squirming things, the scream lost.

Bob tries desperately to grab Hex, to pull her away from the nulls, but when he touches her a fresh wave of pain washes over him, and he collapses on the pavement.

And the nulls just keep on coming.
