Should I have reviewed each chapter? Probably, but I just wanted to get to the next part!
I love this AU. - And I love how you just jumped straight into it, too. No authors notes to explain what the exact differences are between the universes; you just relied on the story to reveal what we needed to know. As tiny a detail as that may seem, it was refreshing, and the mark of a talented and confident writer. I'll have to keep that in mind should I ever venture into AU myself.
Anyway, as I was saying: Cortana as a human/AI hybrid? *squee!* I think you did a brilliant job balancing her across the two forms and explaining them, and I like that she's such a talented soldier in addition to her other AI skills. I saw some reviews on FFN for this fic, and the nitpicking... Geez! She's an AI! Physical calculations of projectiles and the like would be a cinch for her! Those people are crazy. =P ( ... )

Ahem, er, yeah...I take the reviews from ff.net with a grain of salt. LOL
Well, let me tell you that my intention is to have two more Big Bang length fics in this universe. Halo:CE would be rewritten to fit this universe and then Halo 2 and 3 would be combined to make the last of the trilogy. I have vague outlines written out (along with snippets of dialogue between Cortana and John) and I know exactly what's going on with Halsey *evil laughter* (Let's just say all isn't as it seems.)
I'm glad that the Cortana/John aspect didn't totally freak you out. And yeah, there is something about Halo:CE that just makes the John/Cortana fangirl in me squee with joy, LOL.
I totally and absolutely appreciate your wonderful feedback on this story. It's totally given me inspiration to continue in this crazy AU I've created.
