Getting ready for the summer...
Well, it looks like another active summer after a quiet 9 months. I don't suspect much writing is going to get done...
I was in London for a long weekend at the beginning of the month... I love London. If I could find a really good job or really rich husband, I would love to live there...I am not holding my breath though, neither is likely to happen ( Read more... )

I know #5 is a Louis L'amour book. One of the Sacketts series. Probably the first one, which I think is called 'the Sacketts'. I haven't read those since I was young and reading all my big sister's books. Great real Cowboy books. You gotta love Louis L'amour
#6 is defintely 'Shane', but I can't remember the author... a fantastic book!
#9 is almost certainly CJCherryh (forgive the spelling, I don't actually have any of her books) but I really don't know which one, I'm just guessing by what I know about my sister's tastes! Is that cheating?
And I'm guessing that one of them, probably #7, is from 'The Survivor', again, no idea of the author. Just a great book about a marine. The only bit I really remember is that he has to swim up to the surface from a submarine and that's how I learned that you have to keep breathing out all the way up!

Very good, it is called 'The Daybreakers', and I think it was the first one of the Sackett books written, though is not the first chronologically. It is the one they used for the TV movie 'The Sacketts' with Tom Selleck and ummm, can't get the actors name to come, I'll think of it eventually.
