I think you should give the novel-writing a good shot. Damn it if you fail, who cares. There is always success in anybody capable of even writing one. It's great if it gets published and sells, but even if it doesn't, there's not many people that can claim they have ever written one.
You should do it, even if it's hell-damning. HAHA! Is that what he said?
