Good luck with Big Bang! I found that breaking your overall "still to go" down into days makes it a lot easier. When I started with that, I think I was at ca. 8k and still had 19 days or so, that meant roughly 700 words a day. That sounds a lot less scary than 'homg! 12k to go!'

Just keep going and you'll be fine. :)
