"Where you going?" Jensen says, softly.
Jared turns back at the doorway. He can barely see Jensen in the darkness, but he smiles anyway. "Can't sleep," he says, just as softly, though there's no one to keep quiet for, but something about the rain against the windows seems to require it. "I'm gonna go read in the living room for awhile."
Jensen sits up, and now Jared can see him in the light from the hallway, sleep-ruffled hair and the mark on his jaw that Jared put there just an hour ago. "You can read in here."
"Jen, you're not even awake; it's okay, I'll just go out there so I can turn on a light --"
"The light doesn't bother me."
Jared raises an eyebrow. "You wear an eye mask on the plane. At night."
"Because otherwise people try to talk. Duh." Jensen scrubs a hand over his eyes, looks up at Jared, then away. "Come on. Come back to bed
