I was thinking about you today and wondering how you were doing, so it was a pleasant surprise to see your post! I sent you a little something via snail mail, so hopefully it will arrive shortly. I got a good chuckle when I found it and thought it would be perfect, so I couldn't help but send it your way.
Don't worry yourself over things looking a bit off just after surgery. There will be lots of swelling and a good chance of fluid retention and it may be a month before a good deal of the puffiness and swelling goes down. I have a link I will send to you via a PM of a website I stumbled on early last year. It's a beautiful place and I'm sure you will find it a very interesting read.
Anyways, hugs to you... take it easy and don't over exert yourself. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
What surgery are you having? Unless it's something really small there is NO chance that you will be going anywhere the next day, hun. Even if you're able to get up and about, the pain killers will be sending you squiffy. :/
Yeah one of my best friends had his surgery by the same doctor and he looks great... I can only assume the surgeon should have improved within the last two years, but.. I can't help worrying, yknow.
Hee..... The whole time I was there I just wanted to try and get him to say lines from the movie. XD
MEM! I fell off the earth for a good three weeks there and didn't get to wish you luck before you went in, but you should know I'm making up for it by sending you extra good vibes in the present.
*snort* Olfrod would have put you at ease during your surgery, no doubt. You should have him around afterward too, to make you hot chocolates and get you pillows and rent you movies full of dry British humor while you recover.
Yeah, it's been really disappointing in deciding what to go through with during transition that no single step (or combinations of steps) is gonna solve all my body issues. And while we won't be Bales even post-surgery, think about how much easier jogging is gonna be. XD
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS. And gentle hugs, perhaps from the back instead of the front. I'm jealous and happy for you!
