Oh god, i know my comemnt is suck, but really, my head is overloaded with Quinn's feelings and thoughts. So much angst that I teared up during reading this. You. Are. Amazing.
And it was very actually very sweet. If it's any comfort, I teared up a little writing it? I sent an email to my beta and I was basically, "look, right now Quinn is breaking MY heart, and I'm the one writing her..." So, yeah- I definitely get where you're coming from. :-)
Thanks for reading, hope you liked it, and hope your week is off to a good start!!! Xoo
Wow- amazing chapter, and heartbreaking to see Quinn's guilt & Rachel's heartbreak tearing them apart- had to drop into other open tabs for a break a couple times so I wouldn't get overwhelmed by all the angst here. Rachel and Quinn, well, it feels that their combo of guilt, sadness, and heartbreak feels like a lot more than any hugs, comforting words, etc. can help with, and I can't help but wonder, what, if anything, will allow them to find peace at this point

Well, I would say 90% of HYCTL updates are written under the influence of coffee or red wine, so I can understand turning to Glenlivet for comfort. :-) (This update is a little why I don't think I'd be able to handle HYCTL and Vodka/Tragedy at the same time without spiralling into a depression, never to return

Perfectly understandable given the angst level (one of the dangers for people in my line of work is turning to that form of stress/angst relief too often). Not sure if I was clear as I should have been, but the Vodka/Tragedy verse story idea was something for after you finish HYCTL if you felt like taking another trip down the rabbit hole; certainly wouldn't do to lose you to a spiral of depression

Well, Vodka is certainly something I'd consider, so - we shall see? Now that you've planted the idea in my head, it's certainly a possibility. :-) Making no promises that it will appear in the immediate future, though

Yay on the update. :) Yeah, losing the way the Pats did sucks, & I've seen the same thing that happened with your FH team go down a few times with UW's football & mens B-Ball teams- never a fun sight. I'd chalk it up to a failure of leadership, though I don't know enough about that team to know if you should be going off on the coaches or whoever among the players is supposed to provide on-field leadership

Gossip Girl managed to sell the characters in early season 1 by making them all vulnerable/broken - the main 4 (Blair, Serena, Nate, Chuck) all had a complex backstory. Josh Schwartz added Dan into the mix as well, but one thing I will always remember is how effectively the characters were sold from the beginning. By episode 3 of season 1, we understood exactly where they were all coming from, and why they were the way they were. They were all broken, and as an audience, we wanted to fix them. Joss Whedon does the same with his characters, and to a certain degree, Shonda Rhimes gives the same courtesy to her characters in Grey's Anatomy

Glee = train wreck. (Just saw the episode). Keeping in vague in case you haven't seen it yet, but GA and GG both have this tendency of doing 'brilliant episode - mediocre episode - mediocre episode - mediocre episode - AWFUL THAT'S IT I'M LEAVING YOU FOR GOOD episode - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT I DIDN'T MEAN IT I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU episode'. Except as good as 3x01 was, 3x02 was the "Never again, and this time I mean it" episode
