Yes, nothing screams emotional depth like "I can't believe I missed Chord Overstreet shirtless" or "Teen Wolf is blatantly objectifying its male leads AND I'M TOTALLY OK WITH THAT". ;-)

I swear, HYCTL is my sweet, albeit occasionally petulant, child. :-)

Oh oh oh oh.... I love this even though I hate angst!

Hope that progress will be made soon :-)

Haha, thanks for reading it then. :-)

I know things are progressing a little slower than some people would like, but all I ask for is patience - trust me. I just like to build things up at my own pace, rushing things = drop in quality. ;-)

Thanks again for reading, and hope your weekend is off to a good start!

As long as it is progressing and that the end result is happier than the current angst then no worries for me. Actually one of the few angst stories I love. It is my guilty pleasure...

Im so enamoured and confused by this piece of verbal art. I sometimes wonder, by how it can read, if Quinn is a bit delusional. Then again, love has the power to drive one crazy. I get what she is feeling though, the need to let go of lost or unatainable love. The want to stop seeing them when they arent really there, to stop hearing their voice in the dark of night. Yes, i understand that need all to well. Wonderful chapter here. Bravo

"piece of verbal art" - what a wonderful compliment! :-)

I wouldn't necessarily describe Quinn as being delusional, but she is definitely lonely, and is a little tormented by the guilt over her actions. Add the two together, plus the insomnia... It takes a toll on anyone's capacity to reason. You're right, too, about wanting to stop seeing them when they aren't really there - exactly what Quinn is trying to do. She wants to stop seeing Rachel in everything she does, because that is just an ever-present reminder of what she left behind...

Thanks for reading, and hope you're enjoying the weekend!

Another wonderfully heartbreaking chapter- definitely worth the wait. Love how you showed just how Quinn's torn up over what happened and how it affected Rachel & worrying about what all that might have driven her to do.

Can't wait for the next installment, no matter how long it takes.

Well, I joked about it a little to Erika, but HYCTL is definitely the fic I consider to as "my child". I love the other stuff I write, too, but HYCTL is my favorite. I know I just referred to as my petulant child, but my child nonetheless. I just don't believe in rushing things - that, and I'm plaguing with the constant desire of wanting to write something that MEANS something, and, yeah. That's why it takes a while, sometimes.

Anyways, sorry for the wait, but glad you felt it was worth it.

Thanks for reading, and hope you have a great weekend!
