This might be a common observation, but maybe he just feels upset to hear about the awesome things going on in your life because he's not there.

Evin gets like that, even though we live together, when I go away.

Weird occurrence. I usually just tell Evin to grow up and it all works out lol.

Things are going well for the most part. I'm in the middle of ending my relationship, which is hard, but perhaps for the best.
