Playing Catch-Up (We Caught a Flick; Gracie Caught a UTI)
I find myself playing catch-up again which means I'll most likely be more brief and recappy on the subjects rather then dedicating an entry to both seperately.

First off, last night, we had free preview screening tickets to see The Number 23. So our friend Rand came by after he got off work ( Read more... )

Oh, poor Gracie! I hope she's feeling better very soon. It's such a worry when our furbabies are unwell :(

*hugs*

We were going to go to the screening too! I forgot you were in the Bzz Agent thing, we could've met finally. :P But with my mom's dental stuff going on, I didn't want to foist the kids on her on a weeknight. :P Glad you liked it though, I know we'll see it at some point, it looks really cool. (and of course J. and I sat and obsessed about all the instances of 23 in our names and ssn's and dates and stuff. :P

Sorry about kitty! Poor thing, I hope it improves and she doesn't need more tests and procedures. I'll be thinking of her!

I thought about that but I figured it might be too far for you to come out. I was glancing around though. :) I'm never over there even though really, it's not that far. It's just that I lived so many years in Pinellas that it still seems really far to me.

Wait, which theatre did you go to? We had passes to go to Veterans. I guess that is far from us, I just never think about it. After living in Mass. for so long and driving an hour to go to Maine or 3 hours to go to the Yankee Candle factory store...haha. Or even now, driving to Disney so often. :P

Oooh I really want to see that movie!

I got invited to a screening for it but it was too far away plus it conflicted with school....

I'm sure I'll be seeing it sometime this weekend.

I'm sorry about your cat... I hope she starts doing better :(

I certainly hope Gracie feels better fast! I am always upset when I hear that a vet didn't check a urinalysis for a possible UTI. That really is the best check, and then you move on to bloodwork & radiographs. You would be amazed how many cats we have diagnosed with tiny little crystals from checking the urine, when it wouldn't have shown up on radiographs. Good luck with her!

And I so want to see that movie. I have liked the commercials so far, but I go to the movies so rarely, I don't know if I'll see it before its out on DVD...

I was really bummed. I mean, first I couldn't find a vet with any opening yesterday and then when I did, he didn't even do a urinalysis that I felt was kind of a DUH test to perform. Then again, I didn't like the whole vet's office/experience in general and I really stick to my "walk-in clinic" analogy. It just wasn't thorough in my opinion.

She seems to be doing better today, so hopefully his lax exam won't hinder her healing.
