Post Hysterectomy - 2 Years Later

On October 5, 2011, at age 34, I went in for my Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. It was unbelievably hard. Recovery was painful and slow. But, I was so thankful that I was able to get it in the first place.

I'm glad to see another pro-Obamacare on my flist. My sister has epilepsy and can't work, but she's denied all state benefits, saying she can work, and she moved in with me, so lost our dad's insurance when he quit his job. But because of the new health plan, our state health plan was opened up more broadly and offered to her. Her medication was expensive without insurance, so it's saved our lives now. Or will, when it kicks in.
