[Namine is currently standing outside the house where Beyond Birthday used to live, admiring the flowers. All that can be seen of her is her sandals and the hem of her dress, as she's just holding the PCD loosely by her side.]

There are many strange creatures here, but it is mostly safe so long as you stay out of the wastelands and avoid the rabbits.

I am not certain how to get rid of them, but they seem to be friendly enough!

They are rather friendly, I'm just not sure why they like me.

I have not had a chance to explore it much yet, but I am told that it is dangerous and easy to get lost in.

Animals tend to stay with people they feel they can trust, especially squirrels. I think it is a good think that they like you. [He smiles.] And it is nice to meet you as well, Namine-san!

I'll definitely avoid it, thanks for the warning! I'd rather not get lost, I haven't been here for very long.

I suppose I should at least name them, then. I can tell them apart from the others. Do you have any suggestions?

Heh. I think they'll eat nuts. ...And neither did I. But I found one of those little dragons in my attic. She's been stuck to me ever since.

[Then he sighs, and falls quiet.]

His heart pangs still bother him, and so does being blind. Cure doesn't seem to do any good. All I can do is keep casting it to lessen the pain by a little.

No, that's not an option. The darkness will only make it worse, and he'll be in worse danger.

Fletcher has offered to teach me how to garden. So there's a chance, at least? It would be nice to see them grow.
