She comes downstairs and knocks on the door.

"...R-Rebecca's not here right now, though. Is that all right?"

"Oh... uhm... Kevin, when did you decide to move in upstairs?"

"I've been alright. Really good, actually, a lot of--"
He pauses, kind of glances at Claire as she shrugs, and clears his throat.
"Yeah." He figures now is a good time to present Yoko with the small bouquet of white flowers he was hiding. "About that..."

"And as for the job? I-I'd say that if you want it, then you should go for it. Like you said, it's one in a million." She folds her hands in her lap and watches the New York streets whizz by outside the window.
"If it makes you happy, that's all that matters. But still..." There's that smile again! Yoko's certainly in a good mood right now.
"...I like the idea of you living nearby. It makes me feel... I don't know, happy."

"...oh. Well... well, that's a lot better'n I was hopin' for."
He stops at a red light.
"I guess I just didn't want it to seem like I was tryin' to move things too fast, or anythin'. But... if it's okay, that's a huge weight off my mind."
He takes a thoughtful-looking puff of his cigarette, flicks it outside and rolls up the window.
"So--I'm guessin' you've seen this one before, huh? It's a good one?"

"It's a long musical. Very long." She giggles and shrugs her shoulders. "I suggest you don't drink anything before it starts. And that you plot a time to use the restroom." She folds her arms and grins at her reflection in the window. "Because everyone in the theater will be jostling for position."

Truthfully, he was trying to impress her by doing something "classy"; little did Yoko realize that not only did Kevin er, not exactly enjoy musicals, but he was probably expecting this to be less than a two-hour affair.
Or did she?
"...well, I can handle it, I think." He adjusts the rearview mirror, and flashes Yoko a smirk.
"Broadenin' the ol' horizons and all that, right?"
It takes about 20 minutes, but they arrive downtown. He finds a space well enough--which is a godsend, considering the playhouse. He gets out and opens her door--not to be chivalrous, but because uh... it kind of won't open without an act of minor violence upon it.
In they go!
