LJ seems to have come back to life again the last few days, which has made me happy (although I haven't commented on as many posts as I should have). It made me realise how much I miss LJ when I'm not posting here, and that I'm going to make more of an effort to reply when I read posts on my phone

I love Fowley because fans hate her. I mean, hate her. And the reason they give is almost always "She's Scully's competition," and then they say bitch a lot.

Many of these same fans love Krycek, and, well, they were both just playing the Consortium's game as prosperously and independently as they could. You can't adore Krycek's character and hate Fowley's over the same thing t b h.

I know! My reaction to that is to go WTF?! and then do a PhD on it... But I really, really don't get this line of reasoning. And it annoys the crap out of me.

There are a few of us in the fandom. I think we're all hiding under our respective rocks thinking we're the only ones, though gradually some of us are coming out of the woodwork (and if that wasn't mixing metaphors I don't know what is!).

Also, you should definitely write that Fowley post you refer to in wendelah1's fic recs post. I'd love to read it.
