The Unnatural Post-Ep

Jan 18, 2011 21:25

I posted this to xfstoryfinders but thought I'd ask you guys too. I'm looking for a post-ep to The Unnatural where the characters of Mulder and Scully come to life and tell DD and GA in no uncertain terms that it's about time they made CC get them together on the show. Any ideas? I want to say it was written for a pornbattle but I'm not 100% sure if it was ( Read more... )

Are you thinking of the wonderful "Kiss My Ash" by Scarlet Baldy?

So much love.

No problem at all! That's one of my favorite fics for that episode.

No worries - I'll send it over when it's a bit more polished (it's in very, very rough draft mode at the moment) and if you have time to make comments, great.

Cool, thanks! It's really rough at the moment still so I'll polish it a bit more before I send it over.

MINE, THE STORY IS MINE! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
*coughs* Erm...sorry.

And nope it wasn't written for any pornbattle. It started as a fun "what goes into their heads during that baseball scene" piece, and the weird ending was just something that sprung out of the blue.

And I can take a look at your paper if it's not too late.

Cool! I knew it was written by someone I knew but for the life of me I couldn't remember who it was. Would you mind if I used it in my paper? I want to illustrate how fans use certain episodes to highlight the relationship between Mulder and Scully, and how knowledge of 'paratexts' (cast and crew interviews, episode guides, etc.) can be used to reinforce/play with ideas.

The paper's nearly finished but I'd be happy to send it to you when it's done.

Not at all use away! I'm honoured.
And I'm looking forward to reading your paper. :)
