interesting, and pretty. on one hand, i take serious issue with that line as it was used in the show - "one lonely night". on the other hand, i love that you put it to use.

Thanks. I know what you mean about the line. As it's used in the show I've always thought it negated the feelings that Mulder and Scully had for each other; turning it into an act of desperation or sadness or something other than what I, and most fans, think it really was. But then I think its use is pretty effective; it makes Scully believe that they know *everything* about her, shows that they've been keeping tabs on her and perhaps taps into her fears about her and Mulder. What I tried to do here, which would probably work better in a longer piece, was show from Mulder and Scully's point of view it's *not* one lonely night, but it could appear like that to whoever's watching them.
