Accurséd Eden Visitors' Lounge

Welcome, dear visitors, to our Eden! It's a little different today. I know. That why you're allowed in it in the first place.
Commenting is open for visitors from April 1st to April 3rd; any relevant posts, however, will only have been made on the 1st. You may play on any post headed with [Accurséd Eden] or [April Fool's Event '09]. Posts not headed with this are not part of the event. Per the rest of the event rules, you may RP as poorly as you wish, godmod as much as you wish, assume whatever you want of our RP, and generally make a mess of yourself. Alternatively, if you just want to pop in for some world-famous tea, here is what Memento Eden is normally like:
Here's the island layout. We're currently entering spring, and the general climate is that of an average-ish island -- somewhat moist, warm, but not awfully hot.
The government of the island, as far as general knowledge is concerned, is a non-democratically placed mayor by the name of Ari. (She's usually referred to ICly as Mayor Ari, and Ari-NPC or Mayor Ari OOCly, to avoid confusion with the mod.)
All non-visitors had arrived here suddenly without their memories, with knowledge of only their first name. No one has ever witnessed an appearance, nor its counterpart of disappearance, where a resident suddenly vanishes with almost all of his/her belongings.
Tourist attractions! A stone monument stands between the City Hall and the park. A large autographed piece of paper is affixed to the bulletin board at the center of town. (Note that any change you do to these will be undone upon the end of the event anyhow.) We have an Onsen and Luxury Cruise Ships, unless you prefer watching grown, civilized beings attempting to kill each other for sport. You may not have money for these things, but that's okay, a little godmodding and you can enjoy these services anyway.
Our residents have been allowed, even encouraged, to destroy you with ultimate attacks without your consent, but feel free to ignore your death and go on to tour the City Hall.
We're quite open to tourism, and allow them to enjoy the benefits of unrestricted play. However, we do have two rules:
1) You may not imitate or provoke OOC wank. Any bad RPing is kept at the IC level. You can kill someone without asking for their permission. However, the recipient of the sharp end of your knife is equally welcome to pretend that it never happened. Such is the joy of being a bad RPer.
2) You may not play people within RP circles, including yourself. Sorry!
