OOC, Quick Clarification

IF YOU GET A STAR PIECE:
Physically, they are made of magic and rather luminous. They feel cool to the touch and smooth, but oddly lightweight.
They are like most other items in play, like clothes and weapons, and may be given away, tossed, stolen, sold, etc. They may be damaged under extreme pressure. They float on water.
If you receive one, you can describe your interactions with it in a post. There's no strict monitoring of them, but please keep track of where they are, especially if you decide to toss it in a bush and someone else wants to take it from said bush, or something like that.
Any basic questions will be answered here. Barring, of course, stuff like what are they for? :P
EDIT: ICly, your character just happens upon them. Say Soren was out taking a walk, when suddenly something shined on the sidewalk! Or Mist saw something flash and found something under her blankets. Just random stuff like that. =3
EDIT2: For physical appearance. Imagine a bunch of glowy star shapes all stuck together randomly in a giant ball. Then imagine someone took a hammer to it and pieces came flying off. What you find will be a few stars stuck together, some whole, some fragmented. The whole chunk will be roughly the size of a man's fist. Each star is 3~4 inches across. It varies slightly from star piece to star piece.
