I was sort of expecting more of a "trick" ending. Maybe not that the quotes were from an old pamphlet by Al Gore or anything that dramatic, but some IPCC high-up or something.
I am frustrated but not surprised that an element of "if you disagree then you're corrupt, stupid, or evil" is present in the global warming "debate" but I think it's inevitable in any conflict which purports to be about science but is fundamentally about culture and control.
*shrug* Scientists disagree. Won't be the first time or subject, or even a bad thing. I'm not certain one way or t'other whether we're causing climate change, but 1) it's happening and 2)current usage levels of fossil fuel aren't sustainable, and we need to do something to address those.
