Republicans trust CNN less than they used to.

And, in personal news, I finally got my diploma in the mail today. Yay Master's degree!

I've often said that war drives people crazy, but the "War is hell" article gives the hard numbers: 98% in 60 days, and the other 2% were nuts to start with. Crikey. Interesting point about how "shooter" video games can condition kids or adults to kill despite the hardwired aversion. Maybe it's just as well that I haven't had time to play any "Quake III" for quite a while.

Someone once told me that NPR suffers from "liberal media bias". If people mainly listen to stations whose coverage appears "fair and balanced", I guess I've now got evidence to counter that claim: National Public Radio, despite its left-leaning image, manages an almost equal split: 31 percent conservative, 33 percent moderate and 30 percent liberal. Nice to hear, because NPR is almost my only source of news these days.

Yeah, popular media lean left from the perspective of someone who's lying on their right side.

My degree already helped get me my job--I just didn't have the diploma yet. :)
