In the case of the former I imagine we'll be able to return to something resembling what we had before - possibly even something better, assuming we're honest and upfront with each other. [You know, like the adults they're both supposed to be.]

And as for the latter, I really don't know what to say. Clearly you have been through something very damaging to you and your sense of self-worth but I really can't help you unless you trust me. Contrary to popular opinion, I'm not actually able to read minds. However easier my life would be if I were.
