[ Charles woke up early one day; he'd been doing it earlier and earlier. He keeps trying to find a way to catch Erik. Find him. Charles just wants to talk. He finally -- somehow, is able to tap into it. ]

Erik.

[ Charles pauses. ]

I would like to see you again.

[ Charles had expected the same results so he is still a little shocked he was able to find him. He hopes that his surprise isn't evident in his thoughts. ]

Can we meet somewhere?

[ He didn't think it would be appropriate to bring Erik over to the house in Westchester. He was afraid of how the others would feel about it. This is something he would surely keep between himself and his driver. And if it didn't produce the results he wanted, it would be just for himself. ]

[ Charles noted the surprise, but didn't mention it. He was trying to not be too invasive, and this just happened to be the only way to talk. ]

If you're in New York, there's a quiet place I know.

[ Charles sent directions. It was a small park that he knew was typically very quiet. Few people and some benches. A lot of trees. ]

As early as you are able.

[ Charles nodded as well, an unconscious reaction to the fact that this felt so much like a conversation. He considered Erik's answer, and he realized that he would certainly have no difficulty getting there in time. ]

In two hours then, we'll meet a the park. The westernmost bench.
