Welcome to the Fontana di Trevi. You can have a table near the street, or a spot at the bar. Are you meeting anyone, or here on your own? It doesn’t matter, this old familiar place hosts many a familiar face.

Once you’ve chosen your seat, select from our menu, or leave it to random chance.

5. I actually rolled a 5. The dice are shippy. XD raisedaprincess June 27 2011, 01:50:30 UTC
[Rapunzel is waiting for Jack to show up for the date, trying to act casual.

The truth is, she's jittery. She's learned a lot in Jack's world since the spell brought her there... Like that in this day and age, it is acceptable for women to propose.

Dangerous information, potentially.]

[Jack arrives 15 minutes late, looking harried.] I knew I should have taken my rocket! Just parked it on somebody's roof and flown down with my heli-pack. It's impossible to find a parking space in a car!

[He pauses thoughtfully.] Or, I could have taken a taxi. That too.

Yeah, a taxi might have been better.

It's fine, though. Really.

I was so torn between the car and the rocket, taxis never occurred to me.

[Suddenly remembers that wait, this is a date, and he's late, and gives you a sheepish grin.] Sorry I'm late?

Don't be sorry. Just... Sit down.

[Starts.] Oh, right! Yeah, you must be hungry. You should have gone ahead and ordered. [Picks a table as he chatters.]

[She kisses his cheek before sitting down at the table.] I didn't mind waiting.

[He colors faintly and busies himself with the menu.] What do you think we should get? I--uh... I'm not sure I understand the menu. [Frowns at it!]

It's in Italian, hon. What do you want? I'll tell you if it's on the menu.

That's inconvenient. Why would they make the menus in Italian? I would at least have made the things bilingual or something.

Uh... [Examines the pictures.] Do they have any pudding?

Hmmm... With the desserts, yes.

[She planned on waiting until after their meal to talk, to ask, but... She's so nervous... And kind of excited... And the combination makes it hard for her to wait.]

We've been going out for a while now, haven't we?

Dessert? So I have to eat something else? Hm...

[The question puts him on alert. He eyes you with suspicion.] ...Yeeess?

Most places don't serve dessert as the main course.

I just. Think that's good. Don't you?

But pudding is nutritious! It should count as regular food.

Yes. Very good.

[And he immediately gets back to the important issue: food.] So... Do they have any sandwiches?

Um... Yes, with mozzarella and tomato.

[...]

I love you. You know that, right?
