[ Ran smiles, even though the idea of him carrying Jack home, hurt foot or not, is rather ridiculous. It is questionable whether or not Ran could lift him, much less cart him around. ]

B-but. Ran. You couldn't possibly pick me up!

[Jack is taller than you, and hell. Even heavier than you! What does he do now? He doesn't want Ran to carry him!] I can hobble home...

But you shouldn't walk on that ankle for a while. You might hurt it worse.

You couldn't possibly lift me though.

[Jack has a guilty look on his face, he didn't mean to hurt himself.]

I can. You have to promise not to be scared of me, though. Okay?

[ Ran gives him a little smile, almost as if he is teasing, though in reality he is very serious about it. ]

I won't be scared of you. I'm never scared of you, Ran. I trust you.

[ Ran reached out his arms, as if he's just going to scoop Jack up into them like that. The air above them seems to twist, before solidifying into streams of cables that wrap around Ran's arms.

Once they have been formed, Ran steps forward, and they snake out wrapping around Jack and lifting him off his feet. ]

[ Ran maneuvers Jack closer to him, nearly against his chest, and puts his arms under him -- it looks like Ran is carrying him, but in reality the cables hold his weight. ]
