4. *Evil laughter* notanthea October 2 2011, 00:27:23 UTC
[ "Anthea" is not pleased for many reasons. One, she's handcuffed to Sherlock Holmes, not her favorite person in the world. Two, they've been kidnapped. Three, and most importantly... they took away her Blackberry. Her hands feel naked and useless without it. At the moment, she's giving him a 'I hope you know this is all your fault' look. ]

Oh shut up.

[As if the detective was enjoying himself in this situation. Both were stripped of their communications and had to endure each others company. With "Anthea" here, it was only a matter of time before his brother would show up, and no doubt lecture him on this whole mess.]

Couldn't resist. notanthea October 2 2011, 05:05:50 UTC
[ Anthea merely arches a brow at his comment. As if reading his mind, she speaks almost lazily. ]

Your brother does not know our current location. We may be here for a while.

This ought to be interesting. deducing_freak October 2 2011, 05:08:49 UTC
[First. Get out of my head you harpy. Sherlock only glares over at her, the tone of his voice is not at all amused nor pleased.]

That so? I'm surprised he hasn't fitted you with a chip in case you got lost.

[ Sticks and stones, Sherlock. ]

Funny, I could say the same about you.

[Seething. Just, seething so much right now.]

Actually, that's not funny at all.
But I suppose your sense of humor isn't why he's hired you.

[ If that was some sort of sexual insult, she's ignoring it. And laying on the sweet sarcasm instead. ]

You're right. He hired me because I'm pretty.
Excellent deduction, Sherlock.
I'm so impressed.

A bit conceited there I see.
Always such a flattering trait for a woman, no really.

[He can dish the sarcasm right back.]

Now if you'll shut up for a minute and let me think of a way out of all this, I may just be so inclined to help you out as well.

Conceited? Hmm, pot calling the kettle black, I think.

[ Anthea sighs, pulling a small hair pin from her dark mane while the detective thinks. Oldest trick in the book, but without her Blackberry, its all she's got. She's already working on unlocking her side. ]

Your brother does care about you, you know, terribly stubborn as you are.

[Women and their hair pins. Maybe he ought to start putting one in his hair... just in case. Though he's a bit too pig headed to ask for assistance so don't mind him grudgingly turning himself away and ultimately tugging on her side of the cuffs in the process]

If he really cares that much, then he should mind his own business and let me live my life. I'm not a child, I don't need him spying on me all the time.

[ Consider her tugged, the hairpin dropping out of her fingers in the process. She shoots him an exasperated little look. Child? No, not Sherlock Holmes. Never. ]

That's not how he operates... and you are a dangerous situation waiting to happen.

[Something about hearing the faint sound of the hairpin hitting the floor brings a smirk to his face, he can't help it. That sigh though is more then enough to turn that smirk to a grin as he glances back over at her.]

I don't need big brother looking over me. I'm fully capable of handling things on my one, without his help. Thank you very much. [So very stubborn right here.] No let's play the quiet game till I figure out just where the hell we are, alrighty?

[ She picks the hairpin up with delicate fingers and goes back to work. ]

You're both incredibly stubborn. I can't imagine what that doctor must go through.

John doesn't complain. [Well, if he does, then the detective probably wasn't listening.]

Though speaking of.. I'm sure he's noticed that I've gone missing. Should only be a matter of time before he informs Lestra- oh wait. No. Nevermind.

[ She's almost got it, she's sure of it, and she can't help but be curious when he refuses to finish his thought like that. Lestrade 'rescuing' them is a comforting thought - the man earned her respect for putting up with the likes of Anderson alone. (She'd had the misfortune to meet him once.) ]

What?

[Sherlock just sighs some and shakes his head a bit, wiping that thought from his head so he can start all over again.]

Not that I really have much against Lestrade, but I forgot the morons he works with. By the time they figure anything out we'd probably be dead by then. Best to think of something else.

[No one should ever have to meet Anderson. You have my condolences.]
